HART Rescues Help Make Your New House Feel Like Home
So you’ve just purchased your new West Chester or Liberty Township home. You’ve started to settle in. The furniture is all set up. Artwork hangs gracefully on the walls. You’ve even hosted a cookout to get to know some of your new neighbors.
But something still just doesn’t feel right. There’s something missing.
That something? A four-legged friend to curl up beside you and help you break in that brand new couch. That’s right. No West Chester or Liberty Township house for sale truly becomes a HOME until you add a furry friend to the mix.
Fortunately, HART of Cincinnati has you covered. HART (the Homeless Animal Rescue Team) is hosting an “adoptathon” in West Chester tomorrow. HART and its pet fosters will be bringing several doggies and kitties down to the TylersVille PetSmart to try and find these lovable animals their forever homes.
Bring the family down to meet Rocco and Cici, two tight-knit Jack Russells that have been together since birth. The brother and sister have been raised in a family with several kids and get along with just about everyone (even crazy Aunt Sally!). They love to run around the backyard and play tug of war. They love to wrestle with each other. They even like long walks on the beach. Just don’t be surprised when they crash beside you after a long day of play (which we’d argue is one of the best reasons to have them around!).
Prefer a feline friend? Then you’ll want to meet Mountain Mama, a beautiful but small cat who was rescued from West Virginia after giving birth to four kittens. Mountain Mama has been vet checked, combo tested, neutered and is up to date on all of her vaccines—as are all HART kittens and cats. She’s already been microchipped and is just waiting for a lap to nestle into and call her own.
These are just a few of the pets who will be joining HART’s adoptathon tomorrow. There are too many others to feature in detail here. We really encourage everyone to pop over to West Chester and meet the rest of the gang. You’re bound to fall in love.
How can we be so sure?
Well, just take our agent Mike Weghorst for example. Mike and his wife have adopted TWO pups from HART of Cincinnati: Boots and Lady. Boots is a Great Pyrenees/Border Collie mix who sometimes forgets she’s 85 pounds when she leaps on your lap to cuddle. Lady is a black Terrier mix and although she only weighs in at 30 pounds, is no less energetic and playful than Boots. The two girls love to play in the backyard and have been great little sisters to Hailey, the couple’s oldest dog.
HART rescued both Boots and Lady from a kill shelter before Mike and his wife gave them their forever home. Ask Mike and he’ll tell you – life just wouldn’t be the same without the dogs running around. It’s what’s made his West Chester Township house a home.
There’s no time like the present to adopt a pet from HART of Cincinnati, so come on down to the adoptathon at PetSmart tomorrow. HART has made the adoption process SUPER easy. Fill out the pre-adoption application (which is not a commitment to adopt—more just information gathering from HART) and then fall in love during the meet and greet. You’ll have your furry friend by your side in no time.
Already filled your West Chester or Liberty Township home with four-legged friends? Great! There are so many other ways to get involved and support HART. They’ll be hosting a Charity Golf Outing next Saturday, June 10th and their annual HART dinner at the Great Wolf Lodge on Saturday, October 28th.
