House Hunting in Liberty Township? Here’s How Far $400k Will Take You
Homebuyers often come to me and say that want to live in a specific neighborhood, for a certain budget, and have a mile long “wish list” that’s totally out of synch with what they can afford. Five bedrooms, four bathrooms, a two-car garage, chef’s kitchen, media room and Olympic-sized swimming pool for $400k? Not happening, at least not here in Liberty Township. But…we might be able to check a few of those features off the list!
I’ve scoured the current listings to find homes for sale in Liberty Township. This should give Liberty Township homebuyers an idea of what they can reasonably expect to find for $400k or less.

Wow, believe it or not – I found a property that almost fits the bill based upon the description above! This 5 bedroom, 4.5 bathroom home has a beautiful in-ground pool and gazebo in the backyard. It sits on a 2.9 acre lot and has the feel of a royal estate. I love this home because the lower level has been converted into a separate apartment or in-law suite that can be rented or used by friends and family when they’re in town to visit.

If you’re in the market for an open floorplan, I’ve got the Liberty Township home for you. This gorgeous home features bright and airy rooms that blend seamlessly into one another. Cook dinner while keeping an eye on the children in the living room, or serve friends at the dining table without stumbling over each other. This home offers a massive amount of living space – more than any other home featured here today. It includes a formal dining room, loft, huge master suite, oversized bedrooms, a second floor laundry room and finished basement. And that’s just what’s inside! Outside you’ll find a large, level backyard and patio. This Liberty Township home sits on a wooded lot in the cul-de-sac neighborhood of Aspen Trails so expect to pay about $650 per year to the neighborhood’s homeowners’ association.

Here’s the gourmet kitchen you had in mind! The pictures don’t even do it justice. This kitchen was custom designed for people who love to entertain. It includes double ovens, a separate cooktop and stainless steel appliances – all of which will stay for the new homeowner. Feel free to take the party outside. Off the kitchen is a massive deck with iron rails, a paver patio and a fire pit that will keep you warm well into the night. When you’re finished entertaining, simply retreat upstairs to the master suite. Enjoy the suite’s jetted bathtub, recessed lighting and a sitting area large enough to accommodate a sofa and big-screen TV.

Looking to downsize but don’t want to move into a tiny condo? I’ve got the Liberty Township property for you! This is a detached condo that looks and feels like a single family home. This newly-constructed home was just recently finished and only came on the market for the first time in March. The 2-bed, 2-bathroom home also has a den that can be used as an office, exercise room or reading nook. I personally love the home’s covered outdoor terrace that includes a paver patio, fireplace and ceiling fan that allows you to get year-round use out of the space! Expect to pay $250 per month for the Homeowners’ Association fee which covers the cost of landscaping, snow removal, trash removal, and professional maintenance. I almost forgot! It also includes access to the association’s pool. This is the perfect home for Liberty Township buyers in search of easy, maintenance-free living.
